Founded and led by U.S. Army veteran Grady Brain, we've spent more than 25 years tearing down structures the right way: safely, efficiently, and on time, so our clients can move forward with whatever comes next.
We bring the discipline of military training to every job site. That means written safety plans, detailed scopes, transparent pricing, and a crew that shows up when we say we will. No inflated retainers. No surprise fees. No cutting corners.

Demolition Services FAQ
Do I need a permit for demolition in Georgia?
Yes, in almost every case. The City of Atlanta, Fulton County, Cobb County, DeKalb County, and most other metro counties require a demolition permit. We handle the permit application, utility disconnect coordination, and final inspection sign-off as part of the job.
How long does a typical demolition project take?
A single-room interior tear-out can be done in one day. Full residential demolitions usually take 2 to 5 days including cleanup. Commercial interior tear-outs depend on square footage and the level of finish removal required. Mobile home demolitions are typically 1 to 2 days. Your written quote includes a realistic timeline.
What happens to the debris after demolition?
We sort and divert concrete, metal, wood, and reusable materials to certified recycling facilities whenever possible. The remainder goes to licensed disposal sites. Responsible recycling is built into our standard process, and we can provide disposal documentation for LEED projects or insurance claims on request.
How quickly can BHH start my project?
Most quotes are returned within 24 to 48 hours. Scheduling depends on permit timing and your preferred start date. For urgent or emergency work like post-storm cleanup or hazardous structures, we can often respond same-day.
